Peanuts Worldwide is the official operator of Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts comic strip and its characters. The company licenses the property for everything from apparel & toys to books & merchandise to theme parks, hotels and restaurants. Because of this, Peanuts is unlike most brands and does not require a typical branding effort. There’s no need for things like typographic guidelines or color palette specifications because it would be too restricting for licensees and ultimately, all products would wind up looking identical. So instead, we create style guides to fulfill various licensee and consumer needs. These style guides act as visual vocabularies that speak to a wide variety of brand experiences, while telling the Peanuts story in new and refreshing ways.
